Handling Conflict in a Spiritual Way

As spiritual people, the way we handle conflict matters. Most of us dread conflict, but it can be a tool for growth and transformation. The way interact with others in times of stress holds up a mirror for us to see ourselves, and many of us recognize room for improvement. In this workshop, we will go through three stages that will take you from dreading conflict to welcoming it. You will understand how to mentally organize conflict, how to articulate the issues clearly, and how to state your needs with precision and respect. At the conclusion of this workshop you will be equipped with simple and effective tools you can put into practice immediately, and you will walk away with a newfound sense of calm and confidence.

It’s nice to meet you! I’m Dr. Rebecca Nicholson. I help you look at you conflict differently. In the midst of stress, chaos, and unraveling, I help you find clarity and direction. I combine scientific acumen, ancient healing modalities, and a spiritual perspective. Our most challenging problems require an unconventional approach. In my own journey, worldly explanations did not always help. My “Dark Night of the Soul” lasted for six years. During that time, it was spiritual wisdom that brought me the most comfort – not conventional wisdom. So when I work with you, I draw simultaneously from the seen and unseen worlds to help you find the insight you need. I’ve worked with child soldiers, human trafficking, and other people who have suffering from relational and family trauma. I have a Ph.D. in Conflict Analysis & Resolution. My work has been featured in The Miami Herald, Invictus Magazine, and Valka-Mir Human Security training material for US Military Special Operations Forces. I also host “The Conflict Doctor” Podcast, where I discuss the intersection of personal, spiritual, and societal conflict – and I’m always looking for interesting guests!
